The Tour Striker Smart Ball is a golf training aid designed to help golfers improve their swing mechanics. It's essentially an inflatable ball that you place between your forearms during your swing. The goal is to promote a connected swing, improve rotation, and prevent common swing flaws like the 'chicken wing.' This review analyzes 12 user reviews to give you a comprehensive understanding of the product's strengths and weaknesses.
Many users rave about the Smart Ball's effectiveness. Reviewers like Jim and Luka Powers highlight its ability to create a more connected and proper swing. Several users, including Amazon Customer, specifically mention that it helps eliminate the 'chicken wing' problem. Roman Shine notes that it helps them stay in position for consistent impact. Giovanni V, in a review written in Italian, appreciates the ball's softness, which prevents discomfort during use, and its ease of storage when deflated.
However, not all experiences are positive. Jessica Curry expressed significant disappointment, citing a frayed lanyard and the ball's inability to hold air. HSundell echoes these concerns, describing the ball as cheap and flimsy, comparing it to a blow-up beach ball. This discrepancy in experiences suggests potential quality control issues.

The Tour Striker Smart Ball appears to be a valuable training aid for many golfers, particularly those struggling with swing connection and the 'chicken wing.' The positive feedback regarding its effectiveness in improving swing mechanics is compelling. However, the recurring complaints about durability and perceived value are significant. Before purchasing, consider the potential for quality issues and whether the benefits outweigh the cost. If you prioritize a connected swing and are willing to accept the risk of potential quality control issues, the Tour Striker Smart Ball could be a worthwhile addition to your training arsenal. However, be prepared for the possibility of needing to replace it if it doesn't hold up over time. Overall, it's a helpful training aid with some potential drawbacks.
Best Swing Aid for All Clubs. This is quite literally the best training aid I have ever used. It works great in teaching/training a connected swing and works wonders on increasing rotation! Not to mention it’s also extremely helpful for chipping and a putting stroke!
Seems to work well. I’m using it in the garage right to make some winter changes
Disappointed at best. Lanyard arrived frayed and tattered. The ball does not hold air well. Shocking for the price paid. Disappointed is an understatement. Just opened the package and really haven’t even used yet. Total letdown
good for proper swing technique. got it a couple days ago and can already feel my swing becoming more connected and proper
It helped me. I like it so far, it really helped me with my swing and to get a better feel for how I should be swinging. It’s expensive for what it is but at least it’s the original and the lanyard is good quality and won’t break like the cheaper ones.
