The Titleist Pro V1 is a premium golf ball, and these reviews provide insights into the user experience. The sample size of 9 reviews, though small, reveals some key themes. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, but there are some recurring points of both praise and criticism. The reviews come from Amazon, and the reviewers range from casual golfers to serious enthusiasts. The focus is on performance, value, and specific features like the pink stamp and alignment aid.
Many reviewers rave about the Pro V1's performance. One user states, "Nice distance with great greenside control." Another says, "Best ball on the market." The recurring theme is the ball's ability to deliver both distance and control, which is crucial for any serious golfer. Jesse Pettit mentions that the black printed Pro V1s are less likely to be picked up by other players, highlighting a unique aspect of the ball's design. Fernandoac90 notes that the pink balls function the same as the normal ones, but they no longer have to mark them, as nobody else uses the pink color. This suggests that the pink stamp is a functional benefit, making the ball easily identifiable on the course.
Pros:
* Performance: Reviewers consistently praise the ball's distance and greenside control.
* Pink Stamp: The pink stamp is a popular feature, making the ball easily identifiable and adding a unique aesthetic.
* Alignment Aid: One reviewer specifically mentions the love for the alignment aid, suggesting it's a helpful feature for many.
* Brand Reputation: Several reviewers implicitly acknowledge Titleist's reputation for quality.
* User Experience: Many users are repeat buyers, indicating satisfaction with the product.
Cons:
* Value for Money: One reviewer's comment about the price of the ball suggests that the value is a concern.
* Condition of Used Balls: One review mentions buying used balls, which raises questions about the ball's durability and the value proposition.
* Color Options: One user wishes for more color options beyond white and yellow, limiting personalization.
The Titleist Pro V1 appears to be a well-regarded golf ball, particularly for its performance. The positive reviews highlight its distance, control, and unique features like the pink stamp and alignment aid. However, the reviews also reveal some potential drawbacks. The price point and the condition of used balls are areas of concern. The lack of color options is another minor issue. Overall, the Pro V1 seems to deliver on its promise of high performance, but potential buyers should consider the value proposition and the condition of the balls they are purchasing. The pink stamp is a nice touch, and the alignment aid is a plus. If you're looking for a premium golf ball and are willing to pay the price, the Pro V1 is a solid choice. However, be mindful of the condition if you're considering used balls, and consider whether the price aligns with your budget and expectations.
Best golf balls ever!!. These are my husbands favorite golf balls.. he golfs every weekend all year round is a major golfer.. and he loves these balls.. he only golfs with these balls.. and the pink stamp ones were a fun pack to buy.. I wish they made these balls in different colors other than white and yellow.. but the pink stamp logo on these were fun.. he enjoyed them.
Great Buy. Great price for these golf balls. I get them every year for my husband’s birthday because he LOVES the pink numbers!
others don't pick them up 2 fairways over as much as black printed ProVI's. just need a swing to match these balls performance, ps. they don't float
Nice distance with great greenside control.. Best ball on the market...lots of imitators but only one Pro V1.
A gentleman scholar who wanted Pinker ProV1s. When a gentleman like myself looses a bet for a box of ProV1s he has to dig deep to figure how to feel better his loss. Rather than doing something as underhandedly as paying in refurbished ProVs from Walmart, this clever guy says ‘I will just send him a box of pink balls.’ This will provide some measure of solace as $50 flies out of the bank account. The problem with my purchase is these balls are not pink... they have pink lettering. The recipient confirmed that this is a well done golf ball. See what I did there?
