I also have a very old 56 and 60 degree. Would a fitter exclusively fit into the newest a best SM11s? Or if I went in explaining that I’d get an older model would they fit me into those? This is the one thing every golfer needs to try honestly. Standard grips are for child sized hands. Get fit if you can or try a few different grips and see what you like. The irons I am looking at are the titleist ap1, ap2 or cb/mb combo set. I have used the ap1’s before and originally just wanted to go with those as I loved hitting them. But after talking with my former boss (who also is a former golf superintendent) who shoots low 70’s told me to go with the ap2 or cb options as they are not full cavity backs and will leave more room for growth over the years than the ap1 as well as going with a stiff shaft (I already use stiff driver and have pretty good club speed so stiff doesn’t worry me). There’s no magic ball they can look in to and automatically see where your clubs are, or get the identity of the suspects. Sure they got the license plate, maybe. But if it doesn’t come back to the car it’s on, or if the plate comes back stolen, which is most likely the case, what would you expect them to do? \n\nFurthermore, the officer that took the initial report is not the one tasked with investigating any follow-up. This gets sent to property crimes detectives who probably have case loads in the hundreds. It’s also Sunday, that detective that gets assigned the case won’t see it for at least a few days. That’s even if the supervisor assigns it to them. It’s very possible the supervisor sees that the license plate doesn’t match and with no more leads, will suspend the case and you’ll get a notice in the mail/email/phone call etc. If there are leads, they will be looked into, but don’t expect much.
