Getting a tighter dispersion was a higher priority more than distance and general forgiveness so the Zxi5 ultimately won out for me. The bag is currently have is functional, but its an old nylon material bag that has a few cigarette ash holes on it.  Leaning mainly toward stand and cart bags and kind of liking the idea of a silencer bag or a bag that can lock clubs in place.  Was checking out the bag boy revolver and Ogio silencer bags, but i dont know what's out there that I may not be aware of or how much of a size difference they really are.\n\nWhat's your golf bag/favorite golf bag. Picked up a Clicgear 3.5+ model from a coworker who wanted to get rid of some stuff and luckily still functional - just had to adjust brake tension and wheel alignment. \n\nI cleaned it up and noticed a that the tube guard on the bottom was falling apart and it eventually ripped off and noticed a small hole on the sheath (picture #2 & #3). Wanted to know if this was a common wear/tear piece that I can just zip tie the brake sheath to the tubing? Also towards the top left side of the handle, the retaining tab holding the brake sheath broke off (pic #4) and have it tethered with the velcro for the umbrella. Am I overthinking zip tie fixes for both?\n\nI noticed that two teeth in the brake gear had sheared off (pic #5) and also small piece the brake hammer as well. Will look to replace both parts. \n\nLastly the accessory mount on the bottom had cracked and wondering what was it used for (pic #6). If I was you I'd test out the bag boy and clicgear and pick whichever suits your fancy. I will say, steering a push cart with an omni-directional  front wheel is a much more enjoyable experience than with a static front wheel. \n\nI had a caddytek as my first push cart. Good cart. No issues other than every once in a while the brake cable would get hung up when unfolding. Really not a issue, but I do recall it. Upgraded to a clicgear 3.5 years later for no reason other than I have a hard time turning down a good deal. Theres 2 big differentiators, in my option. The braking system and the accessories. The hand brake is a must. The caddytek I had, had a foot brake. Not nearly as convenient or natural to use and the mechanics of it were not as effective either. The clicgear accessories are fantastic. The other brands accessories are all fighting for 2nd fiddle. This does matter. \n\nSold the clicgear last year and bought a mgi zip navigator. They are pretty great for walking. Absolutely the best golf purchase last year by far.  We thought about the remote options, but they'd have run an extra $500 each (non remote big sale, remote not so much....), and we had a hard time justifying that.  I'd guess the power feature gets me maybe 90% there, the remote/follow would add the other 10%.  \n\nI walk with a hand just resting on the handle almost all the time.  It's simple to steer, change speeds, speed 'notches' are plenty small, so it's easy to set at my desired pace, super easy to use.  \n\nWhat I guess I miss the most is just being able to walk freely, like with a caddy!  You can kind of do it - turn it on, just let it go at your pace.  But the hills throw off the line, so I have to always be paying attention, correct it a bit... Easier to just leave a hand on the cart.   \n\nRarely I'd like to run it around to another side of the green without walking it.  Say I'm chipping on the side of the green opposite the 'exit' point to the next tee box.   So I have to walk the cart around to that side, then to my ball....  That's not a big deal. Previously using a decent if older 3 wheel push.   It's a great  upgrade because you can set the speed to match your walking pace and let it trundle along beside you walking towards your ball, then when you want to take control you just put your hand on the handle to steer or stop it by tapping the button. You can add more power for steeper hills. I also appreciate the swiveling drink holder that keeps your beer upright at any of the height settings. I previously had two Sun Mountain 3 wheelers (I wore one out and bought another). They have a few disadvantages. 1) They have a tendency to tip over backwards, especially going up a hill if you let go. 2) a Sun Mountain bag with a wide foot for deploying the stand will not fit between the 2 tubes at the base of the cart. As a result, the bag doesn’t fit. Dumb. I was actually at a big golf show and met the CEO of Sun Mountain and I politely explained the design flaw. He didn’t believe me and had a worker put a bag on a cart and he immediately saw the problem. It may be resolved now. A lot of push carts use a bungee system to hold the bad. Those have a tendency to degrade over time. The Quad XL has a molded upper collar designed to hold most bags in place. As it’s advertised it says it can make it 36 rounds on one charge. My first time out I made it to hole 14 and it was reading at 11%. I live in Colorado, somewhat of a hilly course but not a long walk (6509 yards from blues). I went home charged and the next time I played it wouldn’t even make it a full round. \n\nNow, I have been pushing it for the front 9 and even until 14/15 and then I will let the remote control do most of the work. At the end of the round, I’m sitting around 50% or below, which definitely couldn’t make it another 18 hole round. \n\nI talked with another guy at the range who had the same product, and he mentioned after his round he has almost 80% left in the tank, which seems way off from mine. He said he walks slow and keeps the cart at speed 5 (4-20 speed options) which to me is waaaaaay to slow and no idea how he would keep up with anyone. I keep mine at a steady 9-11 to keep up with friends or randoms in carts. \n\nI reached out to MGI and they said that mine has a software issue with no expected date for completion of bug fix. First, the steering of the cart is unpredictable since the front wheel does not rotate on a pivot arm. It needs to drag across the ground in order for the back wheels to turn the cart. When youre on the cart path or pavement in the parking lot, it takes your full attention to make a turn with the remote. Secondly, the cart does not stop  when the remote gets out of range from the cart.  I was forced to chase the cart in order to stop it, and it was only approximately 20 yards away. According to the specs it will stop only after 45 seconds if  no button is pushed.  So effectively when  the cart is moving and you are pressing the  direction button this is restarting the time.  There is no way of knowing when you are out of range other than you see the cart is not responding to your commands and by that time you are chasing your cart.  If you cannot move your cart 25 yards around a green for example without  being near it, the remote controller is effectively  useless.  Thirdly, the seat provided is a joke.
