Here's the pros and cons:\n\nBoth carts are solid, well made, easy to assemble, push well, hold the bag well, and are well designed. The differences are relatively small. \n\n3-Wheel (3W) vs 4-Wheel (4W): \n \n* 4W folds smaller. Got the wife that one so it fits in her small trunk better. 3W is significantly larger when folded, unless you pop the front wheel off (one button, easy to do). \n\n* 3W has a lower storage bag with a large pocket and a thermos pocket, the 4W does not.\n\n* 3W folds and unfolds easier. One button on the top of the unit, just below the handle/storage assembly. 4W has two latches, one above and one below. The lower one is awkward to get to.\n\n* 3W is simpler to put the bag in. 4W has a foot at the bottom you have to fold out\n\n* 3W has a pivoting front wheel that's lockable by a lever on the handle. To me, the pivoting front wheel is no biggie. It's easier to lift the front wheel and turn the cart than to flip the lever.\n\nIf you absolutely need something that folds small, get the 4W. I previously had two Sun Mountain 3 wheelers (I wore one out and bought another). They have a few disadvantages. 1) They have a tendency to tip over backwards, especially going up a hill if you let go. 2) a Sun Mountain bag with a wide foot for deploying the stand will not fit between the 2 tubes at the base of the cart. As a result, the bag doesn’t fit. Dumb. I was actually at a big golf show and met the CEO of Sun Mountain and I politely explained the design flaw. He didn’t believe me and had a worker put a bag on a cart and he immediately saw the problem. It may be resolved now. A lot of push carts use a bungee system to hold the bad. Those have a tendency to degrade over time. The Quad XL has a molded upper collar designed to hold most bags in place. The Quad XL also has a do it your self, simple alignment system so your cart tracks straight.","date":"2026-01-11","sentiment":"neutral"},{"productId":"prod_111","source":"Reddit","sourceUrl":"https://reddit.com/r/GolfGear/comments/1q6jsnx/push_cart_recommendations/","author":"u/hexamon_","rating":null,"text":"I wonder how many people (like me) prefer to pull a push cart ?","date":"2026-01-07","sentiment":"neutral"},{"productId":"prod_111","source":"Reddit","sourceUrl":"https://reddit.com/r/GolfGear/comments/1pgb9n0/which_push_cart/","author":"u/Irishdelval","rating":null,"text":"How much?
