I have used it for over a year and have \"perfected\" my tempo. Other parts are definitely harder to improve. I do wonder how accurate it can be with things such as putter face angle when each time you put it on your club you cannot reindex to the prior orientation but even so on a relative basis each session it is the same position so it will measure your strokes for that session or while it isn't taken off. Finally there are times I hit the ball and data says bad stroke but I hole a putt. In the end I have determined your eye/mind compensates often for your imperfect stroke. Bottom line there is lots of data and it definitely gives you lots to work on. Much better than standing on a putting green for hours just putting and trying to hole a shot with no plan and limited feedback.","date":"2026-02-19","sentiment":"positive"},{"productId":"prod_124","source":"Amazon","sourceUrl":"https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UNFHKUK","author":"Morgan","rating":5,"text":"This device is awesome. I haven't used it for full swing, but that's not what I bought it for. You only need a space as big as your stroke to use it. Works great. I'm not recommending it to my friends because I don't want them to beat me.The measurement of face rotation change is invaluable in putting. Its 33% of making a putt and probably the hardest to master. It helps having some knowledge of what these numbers mean. In my case I developed a nasty habit of letting the clubhead get infront of my hands and that caused me to pull the ball. I had no idea what was causing my pulls until I bought this. It read that I was increasing my loft in the stroke by 3 degrees and I was able to deduce that this was caused by the putter getting past my hands and causing the face to shut. If you feel like your arms don't have room, like you're lifting, if people have told you you're steep, you're over the top, you don't rotate well, you're flipping, you're hitting blocks, you're hitting hooks, you are likely missing adequate forearm rotation\n\nDr Greg Rose at TPI coined the phrase \"You can't close a door you don't open\". The professional golfers will use The Replay App platform to create a video breakdown of the uploaded swings with frame by frame, slow motion, and video drawing tools to identify any areas to improve your swings. I will then post the Replay video created by the pro back to the community for everyone to enjoy.\n\nThe best three videos will be selected to participate. Videos must be portrait mode, show your full swing motion in the camera, and include both a down the line and chest view.\n\nIf you are interested, DM me to arrange sending in your videos. He got so good he was scratch-level lefty – there’s stories of him shooting 62 righty and 69 lefty in the same day. \n\nIn Golf Digest back in ‘87: He said used “ambidextrous training” – experimenting with new swing thoughts left-handed first, then bringing what worked to his righty game. As one of his former students put it: “If you can’t swing lefty correctly, how are you gonna teach/fix someone else’s swing?”\n\nIt can be fun also, because remember the saying by , David Leadbetter “Takes about a hundred hours to groove a good move… but a thousand hours to unlearn a bad one.” It really alows you to feel like a true beginner. The only two things that change are ball position and width of stance. Obviously this isn't anything new from Ben Hogan (and before) onwards, but I just have not ever heard anyone discuss the low point as always being in that same spot and thought it may help others as it has helped me improve immensely to remove unnecessary setup thoughts.\n\nSo... \n \nWhen the ball is on the toe for Driver, the low point is just behind it, on inside heel, for slight upwards swing at impact. Stance is widest, obviously.\n\nFor 3W ball is equal with low point of inside heel, for a flat, sweeping motion and low point at impact - so ball position and slightly narrower stance both steepen AoA.\n\nAs we move down through the bag, the low point stays the same, but the ball moves back progressively and the stance narrows, further steepening the AoA while changing the low point to after the ball (\"ball before turf\").","date":"2025-12-29","sentiment":"positive"},{"productId":"prod_124","source":"Reddit","sourceUrl":"https://reddit.com/r/GolfSwing/comments/1r0no9b/my_buddy_needs_some_help/","author":"u/_aphoney","rating":null,"text":"My friend does not transfer his weight. I am getting back to golf after a 10 year hiatus (college and lack of motivation). But now I am going all in. When I was in my teens I got my handicap to around 12-13. I was scrawny 115 lbs at age 18, and now I am 170 lb because I have filled out and lifting, I am 5\"10, all the weight I gained was just mass and not fat. I am in Denver so the ball is flying way further than it would at sea level, but I'm pushing 280 yards now with a driver which is obviously a big increase due to the fact that I grew into my body naturally.\n\nAnyways, I've only used face balance putters because I strongly prefer to have a straight back straightforward motion. However, some users report accuracy issues with full swing data and a recent shift to a subscription model. Overall, it's a valuable tool for dedicated golfers.","body":"## Overview\n\nThe Blast Motion Golf Swing Analyzer is a training aid designed to provide golfers with data-driven insights into their swing. It attaches to the end of your club and uses sensors to capture various metrics, including swing tempo, club head speed, and putting stroke analysis. The device then syncs with a mobile app, where you can review your data and track your progress. The product has received a lot of attention, and many golfers are curious if it is worth the investment.\n\n## Performance\n\nMany reviewers, especially those focused on putting, rave about the Blast Motion's performance. Users like SIMON and Morgan highlight the device's effectiveness in providing instant feedback and helping them perfect their putting tempo. The device's ability to measure factors like putter face angle is also frequently mentioned. Reviewers have noted significant improvements in their putting accuracy and consistency after using the analyzer. However, some users express concerns about the accuracy of the full swing data. James notes that the product is \"a little inaccurate for full swing shots.\" Several reviewers also mention the importance of understanding the data and using it to make informed adjustments to your swing.\n\n## Pros & Cons\n\n**Pros:**\n\n* **Excellent Putting Feedback:** A recurring theme is the analyzer's effectiveness in providing detailed data and feedback on putting strokes. Many users have improved their putting tempo and accuracy.\n* **Ease of Use:** Reviewers consistently praise the device's user-friendly interface and the ease with which data can be understood and applied to improve your game. Caryn A.
